Permanent refuge for rescued farm lives
Freedom Acres began in 2015 with a simple imperative: create a permanent refuge where agricultural animals in Georgia could heal without performance or compromise. Over nine years, our Newton County pastureland has grown into a lifelong haven for rescued animals.
Every resident who steps onto our pastures enters a true forever sanctuary. We never rehome, breed, or exploit our animals. Through compassionate daily feeding and specialized care, we ensure every rescued resident lives out their natural life in peace.
Our core sanctuary values
